Flashes of Hope

I recently completed another Flashes of Hope photo shoot at Egleston Children’s Hospital and want to share with you what an amazing organization this is.  FOH provides professional portrait sessions and prints – at no charge – to families of children living with cancer and other serious illnesses. FOH was founded in 2001 by the parents of a child living with cancer.  Today, volunteers in nearly 60 cities across the country participate in giving this wonderful gift. The idea is not to show sick kids, but to photograph the children and their families with dignity, showing how strong and beautiful they are. For more information please visit flashesofhope.org

This handsome boy was a bit hesitant at first, but he soon relaxed and gave us a smile.
